River & Sea Pty Ltd (ABN 95075774579), trading as Jo Starling & Brand Kamp (“we”, “us”, ”our”), operates arc.jostarling.com and the INTERACT Arc™ programs, including Arc Builder. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

We’re bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. If you’re accessing this site from outside Australia, your information may still be handled under Australian law, as described below.

What We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

Contact details — name, email address, phone number, submitted through forms such as the Founder Cohort sign-up.

Payment information — processed via Stripe. We do not store your full card details ourselves; Stripe handles this on our behalf under its own security and privacy standards.

Account and usage data — if you use Arc Builder, this includes the content you enter into the app (your business information, the ideas and assets you build, and your interactions with Archie, our AI mentor).

Website usage data — standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically through our website platform.

How We Use It

We use your information to:

• Deliver the services you’ve signed up for (cohort access, coaching, Arc Builder, the WINK;) Challenge, and similar programs)

• Process payments

• Communicate with you about programs you’ve joined — the sign-up form makes clear this is non-marketing communication unless you separately opt in

• Improve Arc Builder, including using founding-cohort feedback to shape the tool (see “Founding cohort input”, below)

• Meet our legal and accounting obligations

Use of AI

Archie, the AI mentor inside Arc Builder, runs on Claude, built by Anthropic. When you use Arc Builder, the content you enter is processed by Anthropic’s systems to generate Archie’s guidance. We chose this deliberately and want you to know it plainly, not discover it. Archie sorts and structures your input — it does not make final creative or strategic decisions on your behalf; that stays with you, as described on the Arc Builder page itself.

Founding Cohort Input

If you’re part of the INTERACT Arc™ founding cohort, feedback you provide about Arc Builder may be used to improve the tool. This is limited to product feedback — it does not extend to the INTERACT Arc™ methodology itself, which remains our intellectual property. See our Terms of Service for the full detail on this distinction.

Who We Share It With

We share personal information with:

• Stripe, to process payments

• Supabase, which hosts the database storing your Arc Builder account and business data

• Anthropic, to power Archie’s functionality within Arc Builder — your data passes through Anthropic's systems when Archie generates a response, but isn’t stored there

• Tekmatix, which hosts our website, forms, and email communications

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Data Storage and Security

Your Arc Builder account and business data is stored in our Supabase database, hosted in Sydney, Australia (AWS ap-southeast-2). This data is not transferred overseas as part of storage. Website and CRM data is stored via Tekmatix’ infrastructure. We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure, but no online system is completely risk-free, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you can ask us to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you

• Correct it if it’s wrong

• Delete it, subject to any legal or accounting obligations we have to retain it

Children’s Privacy

Our services are intended for business founders and are not directed at children. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
